2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup: Dates, Venue, and All You Need to Know

The ICC has announced the dates and venues for the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup. The 13th edition of the 50-over tournament is set to begin from September 30 and will run till November 2. Five venues across India and Sri Lanka have been decided. The tournament will feature eight teams competing, namely — Australia, India, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Venues: M. Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru), ACA Stadium (Guwahati), Holkar Stadium (Indore), ACA-VDCA Stadium (Visakhapatnam), and R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo).

The Women’s Cricket World Cup, returning to India after 12 years, will feature India in a blockbuster clash in the first match, which will be held in Bengaluru. The first semi-final will be played on October 29 either in Guwahati or Colombo, with the second one to be played in Bengaluru the next day. The final match of the 2025 Women’s World Cup will be held on November 2, either in Bengaluru or Colombo.

Reigning champions Australia will look to defend their title in the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup. They are one of the most successful and dominant teams entering this edition, having defeated England in the 2022 Women’s World Cup held in New Zealand.
