Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant on Wednesday provided an encouraging update on his recovery progress after the harrowing car accident which he suffered in December 2022.
Determined to regain full fitness as swiftly as possible, Pant has been dedicating himself to rigorous rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
Pant has been sharing regular updates on his recovery journey, with his latest social media post showcasing a video of him independently ascending a flight of stairs.
Reflecting on this achievement, Pant humorously captioned the post, acknowledging that even simple tasks can pose challenges.
“Not bad yaar Rishabh. Simple things can be difficult sometimes,” Rishabh Pant posted on his social media platforms.

Since his last appearance in international cricket during the December 2022 tour of Bangladesh, Pant has been unable to participate in further matches, including those representing the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Pant’s commitment to rehabilitation and his positive progress offer hope to his fans and the cricketing community at large. Though his return to the sport may still be a while away, his determination and resilience serve as a testament to his unwavering spirit and desire to return to the game he loves.
