Odisha Chief Minister, Shree Naveen Patnaik honors Odia shooter Shriyanka Sadangi for her exceptional showing at the 15th Asian Shooting Championship 2023
In a special ceremony today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik felicitated Shriyanka Sadangi, the accomplished shooter from Sambalpur, Odisha, for her remarkable achievements at the 15th Asian Shooting Championship 2023 in South Korea. Commending her outstanding performance, the Chief Minister presented Shriyanka with a cash award of Rs 10,50,000 as a token of recognition for her success.
Shriyanka Sadangi, hailing from Odisha, showcased her talent at the championship by securing a gold medal for India in the 50m rifle 3 positions team event and a bronze medal in the 10m air rifle team event. Although narrowly missing another medal, she finished fourth in the 50m rifle 3 positions individual event.
Expressing his congratulations, CM Naveen Patnaik praised Shriyanka’s accomplishments and extended his best wishes for her journey to the Paris Olympics. The Chief Minister stated, “I extend congratulations to Shriyanka Sadangi for her outstanding performance at the 15th Asian Shooting Championship and qualifying for the Paris Olympics. I wish her all the best.”
