In the 56th minute, the PSG attacking midfielder found the net following an assist from Kim Min-Jae, which restored Korea’s lead. His second strike in the 68th minute solidified Korea’s unbeaten streak in AFC Asian Cup openers over the last 17 editions.
Although Korea secured the win, some fans might feel disappointed as their star player Son Heung-Min missed a number of chances and failed to score despite fervent support throughout the match.
