In an exciting development for cricket enthusiasts in Bengal, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has revealed two of the eight Franchise Owners for the upcoming Bengal Pro T20 League, slated to commence immediately after the IPL in June this year. Shrachi Sports Ventures LLP and Servotech Power Systems Limited have been announced as proud owners, marking the dawn of a new era in Bengal Cricket.
Snehasish Ganguly, President of the Cricket Association of Bengal, expressed his optimism about the collaboration, emphasizing the shared commitment towards nurturing cricketing talent in Bengal. He welcomed both Franchise owners, highlighting the mutual goal of elevating the standard of cricket in the region.
The allocation of catchment zones to the Franchise owners will follow once all eight owners have been unveiled. Each team, comprising 17 players for men and 16 for women, will represent multiple districts of Bengal, enhancing the league’s inclusivity and regional representation.
Rahul Todi, Founder of Shrachi Group, expressed gratitude to the CAB for the opportunity, underscoring their dedication to fostering cricket at the grassroots level.
