Kerala Blasters Football Club (KBFC) have announced the signing of Alexandre Coeff. The seasoned and adaptable French defender, who most recently played for SM Caen in France’s Ligue 2, has signed a one-year contract with the Blasters. Primarily a center-back, Coeff has shown his flexibility by also playing as a defensive midfielder and right-back throughout his career.

While still very young, Coeff was loaned to La Liga club Granada FC in 2014, helping the team achieve a club-high fifth-place finish. Subsequent years included loan moves to top division teams like RCD Mallorca (Spain), Mouscron (Belgium), Ajaccio (France), and Stade Brestois (France), before a permanent transfer to AE Larisa (Greece) in 2018. Between 2018 and 2023, the 32-year-old played for Ajaccio, Auxerre (both in France), and Brescia (Italy).
