Yesterday, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Kolkata while Punjab Kings (PBKS) registered a win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Mullanpur. After these results, PBKS and LSG are on the fourth and fifth spot respectively while KKR now sit at the sixth spot with CSK sitting at the ninth spot.

Delhi Capitals (DC), Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), PBKS and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are the top five teams at the points table with six points each.

Next in the list is the KKR at sixth and The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are at the seventh position with four points each.  At the bottom of the table are Mumbai Indians (MI), CSK, and last year’s runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). All three have won only one game so far this season with two points each.

IPL 2025: Orange Cap List

LSG’s Nicholas Pooran continues to lead the race for the Orange Cap with 288 runs in five games. Yesterday’s win against KKR saw another brilliant performance by him scoring 87* runs off 36 balls a strike rate of 241.67.

Behind him is his teammate, Mitchell Marsh whose 81 runs off 48 balls against KKR strengthen his grip on the second spot with a total of 265 runs in five games. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav now moves below at the third spot with 199 runs. GT’s Sai Sudharsan is next and quite close with 191 runs.

IPL 2025: Purple Cap List

CSK’s Noor Ahmad remains in the first spot with 11 wickets from five games adding one from yesterday’s match against PBKS. This now pushes MI’s Hardik Pandya into the second spot with a total of 10 wickets so far in four games.

CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed is now in the third spot with 10 wickets in five games while DC’s Mitchell Starc and GT’s Mohammed Siraj are in the fourth and fifth spot respectively with nine wickets each.
