Gujarat Titans (GT) beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad today, April 9, by an emphatic margin of 58 runs.

Sai Sudharsan’s Dream Run Continues
Sai Sudharsan once again displayed a match-winning performance with the bat. After GT lost their captain in the third over, Sai did not hold back. By the time he got out, he had scored 82 from 53 balls at a strike rate of 154.72. His innings included eight fours and three sixes. He has amassed 273 runs from five matches in this year’s IPL, with three fifties to his name.
RR’s Inconsistent Batting
RR continuously kept losing wickets from one end. There was not a single half-century partnership in the entire innings, which showed that RR’s batting effort today was nowhere near GT’s dominant performance.
GT’s Overall Bowling Effort
Prasidh Krishna was the star with the ball for GT. He claimed the key wicket of RR’s captain Sanju Samson, who was looking good on 41. He also dismissed Shimron Hetmyer, who scored 52 runs off 32 balls at a strike rate of 162.50, and finally removed Jofra Archer. Prasidh is in red-hot form in this year’s IPL. Rashid Khan and R Sai Kishore also chipped in with two wickets each. Rashid’s return to form will be a sigh of relief for the GT team management.
