
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) impressively dominated the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by defeating in their home ground and silencing the fans. This win took the defending champions to the number three spot in the points table with 6 points and a net run rate of +0.803. While CSK suffered their fifth consecutive defeat and is now, sitting at the ninth spot.
IPL 2025 Points Table
The Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are the top two teams currently with eight points each in the points table. KKR, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are tied with six points each. At the seventh spot, Rajasthan Royals are sitting with four points. The bottom three spots of the table remain the same with Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and last season’s runners-up, Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH). All three teams have two points each with one win each.

IPL 2025- Orange Cap List
There are no major changes in the top three as of now. LSG’s Nicholas Pooran continues to remain at the top of the Orange Cap leaderboard with 288 runs. Behind him is GT’s Sai Sudharshan with a total of 273 runs. LSG’s power hitter Mitchell Marsh with 265 runs remains in the top three. The fourth spot is now claimed by KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane with 204 runs. GT’s Jos Buttler is down to the fifth spot with 202 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List
CSK’s Noor Ahmed is still the top spot in the Purple Cap leaderboard with 12 Wickets adding one more from yesterday’s match against KKR. With 10 wickets each, the second spot is jointly shared by four bowlers – MI’s Hardik Pandya, GT’s Sai Kishore and Mohammed Siraj and CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed.
