Team India middle order batter Shreyas Iyer and raising Australian batter Georgia Voll have been been declared ICC Men and Women player of the month of for the month of March 2025. Both the individuals earned the honour following their game changing performance in their respective international series.
Iyer stool tall during India’s ICC Champions Trophy victory, scoring 172 runs across the final three matches. With a match winning 79 against New Zealand in the group stage , 45 runs in semifinals against Australia and a composed 48 runs in the final, Iyer played an important role in India’s Champions Trophy title win.
Iyer ‘honoured’ to win the award
After winning the title Iyer said : “I’m truly honoured to be named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March. This recognition is incredibly special, especially in a month where we lifted the ICC Champions Trophy — a moment I will cherish forever.

On the other hand Georgia Voll played an impressive innings during Australia dominant T20I series against New Zealand. The 21 year old played a crucial role in Australia dominant win over New Zealand by 3-0.
After winning bill Voll said : “Winning this award is certainly a nice way to cap off what’s been an incredible summer for myself and the team.” Highlighted on ICC official page .
The winners were chosen through global fan voting and an expert ICC panel who selected the players who were most influential in March in March cricketing action.
