He came as a replacement for the injured Marcus Stoinis made his first appearance today in IPL 2025.
Born on March 4, 1995, in Leeds, England, Inglis moved to Australia at 14 and started building a name for himself in local cricket with Western Australia and Perth Scorchers. He has since played for Australia across all three formats, making his mark by scoring a century on his Test debut in January 2025 against Sri Lanka and posting a fierce 43 ball hundred in T20Is the fastest such effort by an Australian.
