
The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are in preparation for tomorrow’s evening match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). But to their dismay, their skipper’s condition remains in doubt. Sanju Samson suffered an injury in the last match against Delhi Capitals (DC) because for which he had to take a retired hurt and leave the game. For now, the team is awaiting the confirmed results as to what actually has happened to the player.
What happened to Sanju Samson?
The batter and wicket-keeper experienced an abdominal pain and was retired hurt in the last match. After giving a performance of 31 off 19 balls, Samson was left with sudden pain and discomfort after getting cut off from DC bowler Vipraj Nigam. The physio came in and checked on his update, examining particularly his left side. He then went on to face the next ball but couldn’t find the right rhythm at that moment.
The RR player was already coming off from a recovery from a thumb injury in the initial three matches because of this he started of as an Impact Player. Riyan Parag took the lead in the opening lineup and Dhruv Jurel taking the wicket-keeper role. Loosing the first two matches, RR regained their form with two consecutive wins, but they soon came to a downfall unexpectedly with three losses in the last three matches. In Samson’s absence, the RR has been in a devastating situation this season. A need for a miracle is now in prayers from its fans.
