Mumbai Indians (MI) are on a roll currently, and there is no stopping them. Adding their fourth consecutive win after yesterday’s match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), MI are now in the number three spot of the points table. While SRH remain in the ninth place and now a miraculous effort is needed for them to be alive for the playoff race.

Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) remain the top two with 12 points each. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is now in fourth spot, followed by Punjab Kings (PBKS) and then Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with 10 points each. MI joins them at 10 points but at number three spot. The defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are also under pressure, currently sitting in the seventh spot with six points. Rajasthan Royals (RR), SRH and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) remain constant as the bottom three teams with four points each.

GT’s Sai Sudharsan, with 417 runs, is the Orange Cap holder as of now. His consistency has been commendable this season. LSG’s Nicholas Pooran is in the second spot with 377 runs. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav regains the third spot with 373 runs. GT’s Jos Buttler is next at Number four with 356 runs, followed by LSG’s Mitchell Marsh with 344 runs.

GT’s Prasidh Krishna is at the Number one spot with 16 wickets, and R Sai Kishore is at the second spot with 12 wickets; both bowlers are dominating the purple cap leaderboard this season. They are followed by CSK’s Noor Ahmed, DC’s Kuldeep Yadav, MI’s Hardik Pandya, RCB’s Josh Hazelwood, GT’s Mohammed Siraj and LSG’s Shardul Thakur, with 12 wickets each so far.
