IPL 2025: Updated Points Table, Orange Cap and Purple Cap List after CSK vs SRH clash

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Chennai by five wickets in yesterday’s IPL 2025 clash. Since the beginning of the season, CSK have been struggling and are currently at the bottom spot. On the other hand, SRH, with their third win of the season, are now at the eighth spot in the points table.

Gujarat Titans (GT), Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are the top three teams with 12 points each. Mumbai Indians (MI) is currently in the fourth spot with 10 points, followed by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), with 10 points each. Defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are inconsistent this season and stand in the seventh position with six points. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are the bottom three teams as of now.

IPL 2025 Orange Cap List

GT’s Sai Sudharshan, with 417 runs, is ruling in the top spot for the Orange Cap currently. RCB’s star batter Virat Kohli is in the second spot with 392 runs. LSG’s Nicholas Pooran is in the third spot with 377 runs. MI’s Surya Kumar Yadav is in the fourth spot with 377 runs, and GT’s Jos Buttler is in the fifth spot with 356 runs.

IPL 2025 Purple Cap List

GT’s Prasidh Krishna is currently the purple cap holder with 16 wickets. Along with him, RCB’s Josh Hazlewood also has 16 wickets, who is in the Second spot. CSK’s Noor Ahmed is at the third spot with 14 wickets, and Harshal Patel, after yesterday’s four wicket-haul, is now at the fourth spot on the table with 13 wickets. DC’s Kuldeep Yadav, MI’s Hardik Pandya, RCB’s Krunal Pandya, Sai Kishore and Mohammed Siraj from GT, CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed and LSG’s Shardul Thakur have 12 wickets each.
