
Mumbai Indians (MI) registered five consecutive wins in the ongoing IPL 2025 as they defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 54 runs. Will Jacks was named the Player of the Match and Jasprit Bumrah was superb with a four-wicket haul. But, one name that impressed many MI fans, was the talented South African all-rounder, Corbin Bosch. He took one wicket and batted at a strike rate of 200.00, adding 20 (10) down the order.
Who is Corbin Bosch?
Corbin Bosch is known for his right arm fast bowling and as a right-handed middle order batter. Bosche has an impressive T20 record where he played 86 matches and took 59 wickets and registering a top score batting score of 81.
His all-round abilities made him the part of South Africa winning team of U-19 team who lifted the World Cup in 2014. Notably he was named Player of the Match in the final, delivering a remarkable spell of 4/15 to secure the trophy for the Proteas.

Leading up to his IPL debut, Corbin shone domestically and internationally. Corbin played a key role in MI Cape Town tittle winning during SA20 2025 season, picking 11 wickets for the campaign.
After the match, during a media interaction, Corbin opened up when he got to know about his MI debut. “I officially got the news first thing in the morning through Mahela. Super happy about it. It’s a super special feeling for me. It is my brother’s birthday and what a special day to make my MI debut,” he said.
