I still remember how club transfers were broadcast on “Akashbani Kolkata ” at 2:45 PM news. As a devoted Mohun Bagan fan, I would sit glued to the radio, only to face disappointment year after year as the star players signed with our archrivals. Things changed after he came. Under his leadership, Mohun Bagan found its “Dadagiri” again, they got back the mojo – a resurgence that continues to this day, thanks to his bold and visionary decision to bring in corporate management.
He gave us pride, he gave us joy, and above all, he gave us countless memories that we’ll cherish forever. His contribution to Mohun Bagan is immeasurable.
