Punjab Kings (PBKS) found success yesterday, defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Chepauk. PBKS secured the win with outstanding performances from Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer, and Yuzvendra Chahal. With the win, PBKS are now in the second spot on the points table. CSK’s dream of making the playoffs ended with the defeat. With just four points, they remain at the bottom.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) lead the table with 14 points. After yesterday’s win, PBKS move to the second spot with 13 points. Behind them are Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Titans (GT), and Delhi Capitals (DC), all with 12 points. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), with 10 points, are currently in sixth place, followed by KKR at number seven with nine points. Next in line are Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), both with six points. CSK sit in the tenth spot.

IPL 2025 – Orange Cap List

GT’s Sai Sudharsan currently holds the Orange Cap with 456 runs. RCB’s Virat Kohli is in second place with 443 runs. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav is third with 427 runs, followed closely by RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal with 426 runs in fourth. GT’s Jos Buttler rounds out the top five with 406 runs.

IPL 2025 – Purple Cap List

RCB’s Josh Hazlewood leads the Purple Cap standings with 18 wickets. GT’s Prasidh Krishna is second with 17 wickets. CSK’s Noor Ahmad follows in third with 15 wickets. DC’s Mitchell Starc and CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed share the fourth spot with 14 wickets each. PBKS’s Yuzvendra Chahal, after his four-wicket haul, and Arshdeep Singh, with two wickets in yesterday’s match, join SRH’s Harshal Patel, RCB’s Krunal Pandya, KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy, and MI’s Trent Boult in a tie for the next spot, all with 13 wickets each.
