
It was an enthralling performance by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in yesterday’s Qualifier 2, defeating Mumbai Indians (MI) to qualify for the final. Now, they will clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and fight for their first IPL trophy ever on 3 June in Ahmedabad.

GT’s Sai Sudharsan is still the Orange Cap holder with 759 runs in 15 games. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav had a chance in Qualifier 2 to surpass him, but he failed to do so and finished his IPL 2025 campaign with 717 runs in 16 games. In the third spot, it is GT’s skipper Shubman Gill with 650 runs.
He also failed cheaply in the Eliminator vs MI. LSG failed to qualify for the playoffs, but their star batter Mitchell Marsh finished in the fourth spot with 627 runs in 13 matches. RCB’s Virat Kohli is in the fifth spot with 614 runs in 14 matches. After yesterday’s match-winning knock, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer is in the sixth spot with 603 runs in 16 games.

GT’s Prasidh Krishna is still the highest wicket-taker of the season with 25 wickets. CSK’s Noor Ahmad is next in the second spot with 24 wickets. MI’s Trent Boult is next in the third spot with 22 wickets.
RCB’s Josh Hazlewood currently stands in the fourth spot with 21 wickets, and in the final, he will be in action and will get another opportunity to add more wickets to his tally. In the fifth spot with 19 wickets, it’s GT’s Sai Kishore.
