The Indian Women’s Cricket Team are currently preparing for the upcoming England tour, which is scheduled to begin on 28 June 2025. They will play a five-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series.

Ahead of that huge tour, Team India’s players are currently gearing up at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. Several photos of players like Jemimah Rodrigues and support staff were shared by the BCCI on their social media earlier today, where players were seen having a huddle as well.

They shared those photos with a caption written: “Snapshots from the Indian Women’s Team’s pre-tour camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. Preparations are in full swing ahead of the England tour, with the players simulating various activities in different conditions.”

India recently won the ODI tri-series that took place in Sri Lanka alongside the host and South Africa. Considering the upcoming home ODI Cricket World Cup, this England tour will be a huge opportunity for most of the players to showcase their ability.

Chennai’s Chepauk Unavailable for India vs Australia ODI Series

Meanwhile, just before the upcoming ODI World Cup, India Women are scheduled to play a three-match ODI series against Australia. Initially, all three matches were scheduled to take place at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium from September 14 to 20.

But now, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has already informed BCCI that they cannot organise the series, as the stadium will undergo major outfield renovation which will be starting this June and could last 4 to 5 months. Hence, a new venue is expected to be announced soon by the BCCI.
