The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced an updated schedule for the Indian cricket team’s 2025 international home season, along with revised venues for the South Africa A tour of India.

According to the updated schedule and venues, the Indian senior men’s team will host West Indies and South Africa in full-fledged series comprising Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, starting from 2 October.

Key Changes in Men’s Schedule

The two-match Test series against the West Indies will begin on 2 October 2025 in Ahmedabad. The second Test, which was initially scheduled to be played in Kolkata, will now take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Another significant change is that the first Test of the South Africa series, beginning on 14 November, has been moved from New Delhi to Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.

Women’s Series Shifted from Chennai

Due to ongoing renovation work at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the three-match ODI series between India Women and Australia Women has been relocated.

The first two ODIs will now be played at the New PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh, while the final ODI will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

South Africa A Tour – New Venues Announced

The South Africa Men’s A team will tour India starting from 30 October 2025, to play two multi-day matches and three one-day games. The multi-day matches will be held as scheduled at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

However, the one-day matches, which were originally slated to be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, have now been shifted to the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.
