The Big Bash League (BBL) 2025 draft has concluded, with all eight teams adding some big international names to their squads ahead of Season 15.

Shaheen Afridi, who will be available for the entire BBL season, was snapped up by Brisbane Heat with their first pick. He joins a formidable pace attack alongside Spencer Johnson, Michael Neser, and Xavier Bartlett.

Melbourne Stars retained Haris Rauf using their retention pick after Adelaide Strikers attempted to grab him with Pick No. 2.

Melbourne Renegades went for Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan despite already having Tim Seifert as their wicketkeeper-batter.

Adelaide Strikers picked England’s Luke Wood, while Sydney Thunder secured the services of Sam Curran.

Hobart Hurricanes confirmed Chris Jordan as their platinum signing in the first round, while Perth Scorchers did the same for Finn Allen.
