
Dwayne Bravo is back with the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR). The franchise has announced his appointment as the new head coach for the upcoming Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season. The decision reflects Bravo’s remarkable achievements and long-standing success with the team.
Bravo represented TKR for nine seasons and, across his CPL career, scored 1,155 runs and took 129 wickets. TKR are aiming to secure their fifth CPL title this season, and it made them believes that Bravo’s guidance will take them a step closer to that goal.
“It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to be Head Coach of TKR, a team that’s very close to my heart. I would like to personally thank Coach Phil Simmons for his time and commitment over the last few years, and now I look forward to this new challenge for me and my staff,” Bravo said in a statement.

Bravo’s connection with the Knight Riders Group continues to grow. His cricketing journey has now taken another step forward. The former West Indies all-rounder currently serves as a mentor for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and is also the head coach of LA Knight Riders in the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC).
Following the announcement, Knight Riders Group CEO Venky Mysore expressed his delight at Bravo’s appointment as TKR’s head coach.

He has given everything to this team as a player and captain, and we are now eagerly looking forward to seeing him bring us more success in this new role, as head coach of TKR in CPL 2025.
