In a major development for Indian tennis, Baseline Ventures has joined forces with global talent management agency SeventyTwo Sports Group to represent Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi, one of the country’s most promising young athletes.
The 16-year-old has already made waves in both junior and senior circuits, recently earning national and international attention at the WTA 125 event in Mumbai. Her impressive performance there led her to become the youngest Indian ever to achieve a WTA ranking. Up next, she’s set to participate in Wimbledon Juniors, which kicks off tomorrow.
Maaya began playing tennis as a hobby at age 8, but her dedication quickly elevated it into a full-time pursuit. Her talent was soon recognised by the Rafa Nadal Academy, which offered her a scholarship. Since then, she has been training full-time in Spain under the expert guidance of Nadal and his elite coaching staff.
Known for her versatile and aggressive all-court playing style, Maaya is regarded as a rising star. With a dynamic skillset and strong presence on court, she is considered well-prepared to compete at the top levels of professional tennis.

Sharing her excitement about joining SeventyTwo Sports Group and Baseline Ventures, Maaya said, “I am extremely delighted to collaborate with SeventyTwo Sports Group & Baseline Ventures. They’re both known for their commitment to identifying young talents and supporting their journeys. I look forward to learning and am eager to collaborate with them both to pursue my professional ambitions and goals.”
