Off-spinning all-rounder Shreyanka Patil and leg-spinner Priya Mishra have been ruled out of India A women’s multi-format tour of Australia in August. Both players have been released due to injuries and will be receiving rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

An official statement by the BCCI read: “Both players remain under the care of the BCCI Medical Team at the Centre of Excellence and are currently undergoing their Return-to-Play protocols.”

Patil is subject to a fitness clearance by the NCA, which has caused a delay in her return to competitive cricket. Mishra, on the other hand, has been sidelined from the one-day and four-day squads due to an unidentified injury.

However, batter Dhara Gujjar and all-rounder Prema Rawat have been added to the squad across all three formats. Left-handed batter Yastika Bhatia is also a new addition to the one-day side.

India A will face Australia in three T20s, followed by three one-day games and a four-day match.

Radha Yadav has been handed the captaincy role, while Minnu Mani takes up the vice-captaincy across all three formats. Shafali Verma will also be part of the squad.
