
India will lock horns with Pakistan on 14 September in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, as the group fixtures for the multi-nation tournament were revealed by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Saturday.
ACC President Mohsin Naqvi announced that this year’s Asia Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 9 to 28 September.
According to sources close to the development, all of India’s matches will be held in Dubai. The high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan will take place on a Sunday. Both teams are in the same group and are expected to face each other again a week later in the Super Four stage. India will begin their campaign against the UAE on 10 September.
Group A comprises India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman, while Group B features Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. The tournament will consist of 19 matches in total, with each team allowed a 17-member squad. Matches will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in the T20 format.
