
Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, got engaged to Saaniya Chandok, according to reports by NDTV. Saaniya is the granddaughter of renowned Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. The engagement was reportedly held in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family members. An official statement is yet to be made by either of the families.
Arjun is a left-arm all-rounder who currently plays for Goa in domestic cricket, appearing in several List A and first-class matches. In List A cricket, he has taken 25 wickets and scored 102 runs in 18 matches played so far. Meanwhile, in first-class cricket, the cricketer has scored 532 runs and claimed 37 wickets in 17 matches played. In 24 T20s, Arjun has picked up 27 wickets and scored 119 runs.
He has also played for the Mumbai Indians team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He made his debut in the 2023 season, playing just four matches and ending up with three wickets with the ball and 13 runs in total with the bat. The following season, he appeared in a single game for MI, taking one wicket only.

Saaniya hails from a well-established business family with a strong presence in the hospitality and food industry. The Ghai family are proud owners of the InterContinental Hotel and Brooklyn Creamery, a popular ice cream brand in India. Arjun’s fiancée, according to official Indian government records (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), is reportedly the designated Director of Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP in Mumbai. She also has a long-standing friendship with Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar, which reportedly helped to develop her relationship with Arjun.
