Mitchell Starc has retired from T20 International cricket but during his 13 years of T20I career, which started in 2012, he bowled some great spells for Australia.

Here are the top 3 spells of him in T20Is

4/20 vs West Indies in 2022

In the second T20I of the West Indies tour of Australia, Starc bowled the best spell of his T20I career. He caught and bowled Kyle Mayers in his first over. Then he dismissed West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran. Jason Holder was also sent back to the pavilion by Starc. He bowled out Odean Smith to complete his four-fer. He finished with figures of 4/20 in his four overs at an economy rate of 5.00 and the Aussies registered a 31-run victory.

3/11 vs Pakistan in 2012

In the third T20I of the Australia tour of UAE, Starc was again brilliant. In his first over, he trapped Pakistan opener Imran Nazir LBW. In his next over he got Kamran Akmal out. Saeed Ajmal was his last wicket of the match. He finished with figures of 3/11 in 3.1 overs at an economy rate of 3.47, helping his team to secure a big victory by 94 runs.

3/20 vs Pakistan in 2012

In the 23rd match of the T20I World Cup in 2012, Starc was outstanding for Australia as he took 3/20 in his four overs at an economy rate of 5.00. In his first over, Starc removed Pakistan opener Mohammad Hafeez. In the first ball of the 16th over, he sent back Kamran Akmal to the pavilion. He also got the wicket of the dangerous Shahid Afridi in that match. But unfortunately, Australia lost that game as they failed to chase down the 150-run target.
