Glenn Maxwell and Ben Dwarshuis will be available for selection for the latter part of the T20I series against India, Cricket Australia confirmed on Friday, 24 October. Uncapped all-rounder Jack Edwards and young pace sensation Mahli Beardman have earned their maiden national call-ups. While the former will only be available for the upcoming third ODI in Sydney, the latter has been picked for the last three T20Is.

The selectors have rung in changes in order to manage the workload of players who are in contention to play in the Ashes, or to allow them game time in the Sheffield Shield.

Marnus Labuschagne, who did not play in the first two ODIs, will link up with Queensland for their Sheffield Shield clash against New South Wales.
After the first two T20Is, Hazlewood will also play Sheffield Shield cricket for New South Wales. Joining him will be Sean Abbott, who is in contention for the Ashes.

With Josh Inglis still recovering from injury, Josh Philippe, who looked impressive in the Perth ODI, has been added to the squad.
