Teen batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi produced one of the most explosive T20 innings of the year as he scored 144 runs off just 42 balls for India A against the UAE at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha, in the ongoing Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament. His innings helped India A post a massive total of 297/4 in 20 overs.

With that sensational ton, Suryavanshi has now become the first cricketer in history to smash two hundreds in just 35 balls. The first instance came during the 2025 IPL season against the Gujarat Titans, when he scored 101 off 38 balls. At 14, he became the youngest player to achieve that record and the second-fastest centurion in IPL history.

Suryavanshi played a similar innings this time for India A. The southpaw reached the three-figure mark in just 32 balls. En route to his century, Suryavanshi struck 11 fours and 15 sixes at a strike rate of 342.85. He was dismissed by Mohammed Faraazuddin in the 13th over, but by then India had reached 199 runs.

After losing an early wicket of Priyansh Arya, Suryavanshi along with Naman Dhir, who scored 34 off 23 balls, kept the scoreboard moving at a brisk pace. Captain Jitesh Sharma, batting at No. 4, also played a brilliant innings, remaining unbeaten on 83 off 32 balls. His knock included eight fours and six sixes at a strike rate of 259.37.

The UAE bowlers struggled throughout the innings. Faraazuddin, Muhammad Arfan and Aayan Afzal Khan managed to take one wicket each.
