India A beat Oman by six wickets with 13 balls left in the Group B match of the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. Harsh Dubey’s superb innings made the job easy for India A while chasing the 136-run target successfully.

India A won the toss and chose to bowl first. Oman had a steady start and at the halfway stage of their innings, they were 71/2. But their lower middle order failed badly, and they could only reach 135/7 in 20 overs. Wasim Ali stayed unbeaten on 54 off 45 balls, hitting five fours and a six.

Five of their batters could not even reach double figures. For India A, young spinner Suyash Sharma was outstanding as he took 2/12 in his four overs at an economy rate of 3.00. Gurjapneet Singh also took two wickets. Harsh Dubey, Naman Dhir, and Vijaykumar Vyshak chipped in with one wicket each.

In reply, India A’s promising openers, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Priyansh Arya, failed to give a good start. However, Harsh built a 66-run stand off 52 balls with Nehal Wadhera, which brought India A close to the target. Harsh anchored the chase and stayed till the end to take his team home. He scored unbeaten 53 off 44 balls, including seven fours and a six, and was named the Player of the Match for his brilliant effort.

With this win, India A have now qualified for the semi-finals along with Pakistan Shaheens from Group B.
