A total of 277 players have been listed for the WPL 2026 mega auction, which will take place on November 27, 2025, in New Delhi. Eight players from the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will go under the hammer. The list includes Dhara Gujjar, Priyanka Bala, Titas Sadhu, Saika Ishaque, Mita Paul, Hrishita Basu, Sushmita Ganguly, and Tanushree Sarkar.

Among them, the spotlight will be on Dhara, Titas, and Saika. All three have already played in the Women’s Premier League and carry strong domestic and franchise experience. Their form and impact in the auction will be important, not only for the Bengal players’ group but also in shaping team combinations for the upcoming WPL season.

Dhara Gujjar had featured in three matches for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in WPL 2022/23. She could score only four runs in that season. But since then, she has improved a lot in domestic cricket. Her steady run across competitions helped her earn an India A call-up. She also toured Australia recently to play against Australia A across all three formats. However, her form with the bat has dipped ahead of the auction. She scored only 105 runs in six innings for Bengal Women in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2025. In the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy, she managed just 38 runs in three innings for Eastern Zone.

Her base price is Rs 10 lakh. Dhara is a left-handed technical batter and can be a good option for any team looking for a backup opener. She can also bowl a few overs of off-spin, something she often does for Amazon Howrah Warriors in the Bengal Pro T20 League.

Saika Ishaque had a breakthrough WPL season in 2022/23. She took 15 wickets in 10 innings for MI and earned her maiden India call-up. But her performances dipped in the next two seasons. She picked up only 10 wickets in 12 innings. In 2023, she made her India debut in both ODI and T20I cricket and took five wickets across one ODI and three T20Is. Since then, she has struggled to stay in the Indian setup. In the recent Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy, she took five wickets in five matches for East Zone. She also picked up six wickets in five games for Bengal in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. Saika’s base price is Rs 30 lakh.

Young pacer Titas Sadhu will also look to make a strong impact. Her base price is Rs 30 lakh. She played for Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. She managed four wickets in seven matches. Titas has played 20 games for India across formats, but her last international match was in January 2025.

Injuries have slowed her progress, but the upcoming WPL is a big chance for her to make a comeback and push for an India return. Teams will be keen on Indian pacers, and someone like Titas can be a long-term option.

The remaining five Bengal players — Priyanka Bala, Mita Paul, Hrishita Basu, Sushmita Ganguly, and Tanushree Sarkar — all have a base price of Rs 10 lakh.
