An uphill task awaits all WPL franchises as they move closer to the mega auction for the 2026 season. The auction will take place in New Delhi on November 27, and all teams will aim to build a strong squad for the coming years. For that, apart from known and established names, uncapped players — especially uncapped Indians — will be crucial. Many of the uncapped Indian players listed for the auction have shown excellent form in recent domestic tournaments and could attract strong bids from multiple teams.
Vaishnavi Sharma
Base Price – Rs 10 Lakh
This 20-year-old left-arm orthodox spinner could trigger bidding wars in the mega auction. Vaishnavi Sharma played a key role in India’s U-19 Women’s World Cup win in 2025, finishing as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in six innings at an economy of 3.36. She carried that form into domestic cricket.
In the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2025, she took 21 wickets in nine matches for Madhya Pradesh and finished as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker, although the team lost the final to Maharashtra. She continued her strong run in the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy 2025, picking up 12 wickets in five matches for Central Zone and ending as the second-highest wicket-taker.
Vrinda Dinesh
Base Price – Rs 10 Lakh
Vrinda Dinesh has been scoring heavily in domestic cricket, making her a strong auction pick. While playing for Karnataka in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, she scored 316 runs in nine innings and finished as the tournament’s third-highest run-scorer, including an unbeaten 118 off 58 balls against Haryana.
The 24-year-old was part of the India A squad that toured Australia this year, featuring in three T20s against Australia A. She also has WPL experience, scoring 102 runs in nine innings for UP Warriorz across the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.
Prema Rawat
Base Price – Rs 10 Lakh
Prema Rawat has previous WPL experience, having played three matches for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) last season, where she picked up one wicket at an economy of 15.00. Since then, she has shown clear improvement.
On the India A tour of Australia, she impressed with seven wickets in three T20s, including two three-wicket hauls. In two 50-over games on the same tour, she added one wicket and played a crucial unbeaten 32 off 33 balls, helping stitch a 68-run stand with Tanuja Kanwar as India A chased down 266 with one ball left. In the recent Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, she took six wickets in five matches for Uttarakhand.

A fluent right-handed top-order batter with fearless stroke play, she is often compared to her idol and Haryana teammate Shafali Verma.
Deeya has been consistent in domestic cricket. She finished as the fifth-highest run-scorer in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, playing for Haryana (298 runs in eight innings) and the fourth-highest run-scorer in the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy, playing for North Zone (151 runs in five innings), helping the team finish runners-up.
