Padikkal reached the landmark with a solid knock against Mumbai in Bengaluru. He remained unbeaten on 81 off 95 balls, which included 11 boundaries. He also stitched a crucial 143-run partnership with Karun Nair, who remained not out on 74.
Earlier, Mumbai posted 254 for eight wickets, with Shams Mulani top-scoring with 86 after early wickets. Vidyadhar Patil was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets, while Abhilash Shetty and Vidwath Kaverappa took two wickets each.
In reply, Karnataka were 187 for one in 33 overs when rain interrupted play. With Karnataka ahead by 55 runs on the VJD method, they were declared winners. Padikkal was named the Player of the Match.
