Backstage With Boria is now in its sixth season, and I am deeply appreciative of the support from Ageas Federal Life Insurance (AFLI). Having recently completed a very successful brand relaunch, it was only natural that we would want to deepen and strengthen our partnership. With this intention, we met last week in Kolkata with Jude Gomes, Managing Director and CEO, and Atul Srivastava, Chief Distribution Officer of AFLI.
From the very first minute, the conversation was engaging and forward-looking. “What more can we do together? How can we support sport and make a difference? We have Sachin as our brand ambassador, and you can easily understand how sport resonates with us,” said Jude. “In good times or bad, we will be with our customers and fulfil our promises. Every promise made will be fulfilled. Har Wada Mumkin. Much like Sachin fulfilled every promise to his legion of fans.”
“It is a fast-changing landscape,” said Atul. “We are evolving into a multi-sporting country with each passing day. We will be hosting the CWG and then the Olympics. Clearly, India stands to embrace Olympic and Paralympic sport more and more. That is where the Trailblazers Conclave is poised to make a difference, and it is from this standpoint that we at Ageas Federal, led by Jude, decided to support you to the fullest.”
“Cricket already has strong support in India,” said Erum Kidwai, Head of Marketing at Ageas Federal Life Insurance. “Let’s go beyond cricket, as you have always done. This is the time to push other sports and back our stars. We’d like to see more sports featured in Backstage With Boria.”
Clearly, things are changing in India. Seeing corporates wanting to support multiple sports is refreshing, and that is what makes this partnership all the more special. I am very pleased to have Ageas Federal Life Insurance as the Powered By Partner at the Trailblazers Conclave 4.0.
