
Indian Olympic Association has confirmed in a letter that a team of Indian delegation including IOA members and officials from the Government of Gujarat are all set to travel to Lausanne from 30th June to 2nd July 2025 for official talks with CGF (Commonwealth Games Federation), Olympic Games Department Team and the IOC (International Olympics Committee).
The purpose of this visit is to share updates on key aspects of Gujarat’s preparations for its bids to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games and the 2036 Olympic Games, and to seek valuable feedback and guidance from the CGF and IOC.
Sources have also confirmed that Indian delegation will also be in London to take the 2030 Commonwealth Games hosting talks ahead.

The official letter from the IOA reads:
“A team of 10A, MoYAS and the Government of Gujarat will be travelling to CGF HQ.
London, during 02 – 07 June 2025 and IOC’s Office, Lausanne, during 30″ June to 2″* July 2025 for an in-person meeting with the CGF and Future Olympic Hosts – Olympic Games Department Team of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The objective of this visit is to present updates on various areas of preparation relating to Gujarat’s candidature for hosting the 2030 Commonwealth Games and 2036 Olympic Games, and to receive valuable feedback and guidance from the CGF/IOC.
The members of the delegation, as proposed by the Government of Gujarat (Copy of communication attached), are as follows:-

Arrangement:
The Government of Gujarat will bear the cost of international travel, boarding & lodging.
The admissible daily allowance (DA) for the 10A delegate shall be paid by the lOA.
The Finance Department of IOA is to make the necessary DA admissible to the 10A delegates in a timely manner.”
