Top-ranked Test batter, Marnus Labuschagne, is eagerly looking forward to the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final against India at The Kia Oval, on June 7.
Labuschagne had a successful stint with Glamorgan in English County cricket, displaying excellent form by scoring two centuries and accumulating 504 runs in just eight innings. He is confident that his time with Glamorgan will have a positive impact on his performance in the upcoming matches, allowing him to showcase his best form in the coming months.
“Mentally I’m as hungry as ever and want us to win this series … I really feel like we let one slip last time we were here, and hopefully we can amend that,” Labuschagne as quoted by ICC.
“I love coming here, I love playing County cricket, I love the team at Glamorgan, I enjoy it so much otherwise I wouldn’t be coming back. It just helps that this year is a Test Championship Final and Ashes year so it is very helpful for leading into the series,” he added.
