Zimbabwe have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Former captain Graeme Cremer has earned a recall after returning to international cricket last year, while batting all-rounder Sikandar Raza will captain the side.
The 39-year-old made his international comeback in October after spending seven years away from the game and featured in the tri-series in Pakistan. His experience will add depth to Zimbabwe’s spin options. Test and ODI captain Richard Ngarava and experienced wicketkeeper-batter Brendan Taylor are also included in the squad, with Taylor having returned to cricket earlier this year.
Fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has also returned to the squad after recovering from a back injury. Left-arm seamer Newman Nyamhuri is the only notable omission from the squad that played the last bilateral series.
Young wicketkeeper-batter Clive Madande has secured his place in the squad, while Wellington Masakadza will join Cremer in spearheading the spin department.
Zimbabwe are placed in Group B alongside Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Oman. They will begin their World Cup campaign against Oman on 9 February, with all their group matches set to be played in Sri Lanka.
