CSK’s Ayush Mhatre to lead as India U19 squad for the England tour announced

The Junior Cricket Committee has selected the India U19 squad for the England tour, which is scheduled from June 24 to July 23, 2025.

Ayush Mhatre, who showed good form for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing IPL 2025, has been chosen as the captain of the squad, while Abhigyan Kundu, the wicket-keeper batter, has been named the vice-captain.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been a revelation in Indian cricket recently and set the IPL 2025 on fire. The wonder kid, who is just 14 years old, smashed 252 runs from seven matches at an average of 36 and a strike rate of 206.56. His short IPL career included a fifty and a score of 101 runs off just 38 balls. He has also managed to secure a place in the India U19 squad.

The first 50-over warm-up match will be played on June 24 at the Loughborough University Stadium.

2nd ODI – 30 June in Northampton

3rd ODI – 2 July in Northampton

4th ODI – 5 July in Worcester

5th ODI – 7 July in Worcester

1st Multi Day game – 12- 15 July in Beckenham

2nd Multi Day game – 20-23 July in Chelmsford
