
The Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) has announced the Indian Men’s Mixed Disability Squad for a historic 7-match T20 International series, the Vitality IT20 Mixed Disability Series against England, scheduled for June and July 2025. The matches will be played at some of England’s most iconic cricket grounds.
This tour marks the international debut of India’s unified pan-disability cricket team, which includes players from physical, hearing, and intellectual disability categories. Organized in partnership with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the series represents a major step toward enhancing global visibility and inclusivity in sport.
In a progressive move, select matches will be held as double headers alongside prominent fixtures on England’s mainstream cricket calendar. One of the standout events is the sixth T20I, scheduled for Tuesday, 1 July in Bristol, which will be played in conjunction with the England Women vs India Women match. This match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, sending a strong message of equal opportunity and respect for athletes of all abilities.
Ravindra Gopinath Sante, a seasoned cricketer known for his leadership and discipline, has been named captain of the Indian side. His experience is expected to guide the squad through this pioneering international campaign.

To prepare for the tour, a national training camp will be held in Jaipur from 7 to 14 June. The camp will emphasize fitness, strategy, and team bonding to ensure the players are fully prepared to represent India on the world stage.
