Sandeep Agarwal, from investors Emami, and Sadananda Mukherjee, one of the directors of the club, will represent the Red-and-Gold. Debabrata Sarkar, member of the East Bengal senior executive committee, told RevSportz that it’s important to consider the club’s viewpoint. He struck an optimistic note regarding the resumption of the Indian Super League, offering a sense of reassurance to clubs, players, and supporters awaiting updates.
“I’m quite confident that the league will eventually happen,” Sarkar said. “If it cannot begin in late December, then surely by January. Things appear to be headed in a positive direction.”
