The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the squad for the upcoming series between England Women A and New Zealand Women A. A 13-member squad has been named for the T20Is and a 16-member squad for the ODIs.

The three-match 50-over ODI series between ENG-W A and NZ-W A begins today, June 23, at Derby. The second and third matches will take place on June 26 at Derby and June 29 at Chelmsford. The T20I series is scheduled to start on July 3 at Chelmsford, followed by the second game on July 5 and the final match on July 7 at Beckenham.

Grace Scrivens has been named captain for both series. The squad will be coached by Jon ‘Judge’ Lewis, England Women’s Performance Batting Coach.

Speaking about the squad and the challenge ahead, Jon Lewis said: “We’re all looking forward to the series. We’ve selected a young and talented group of players, many of whom have gained recognition through their form for their counties in the first half of the season. It’s also good to see a number of players with recent experience of playing for England Women U19s.”

“New Zealand have brought over a strong A squad with a good amount of international experience, so the challenge will be tough, but I’m looking forward to seeing our players grab this opportunity against strong opposition,” she added.
