Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur will be absent from the third and final ODI against Australia in Rajkot on September 27. Gill and Thakur will rejoin the team in Guwahati, where the team will play a warm-up match against England on September 30.
Jasprit Bumrah, who took a break to spend time with family and missed the second ODI in Indore, will reunite with the squad in Rajkot for the third ODI. India have won the first two matches. Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Virat Kohli will return to the squad after being rested for those games.
