Grant Bradburn has been appointed as the head coach of Pakistan’s national men’s cricket team, following a rigorous recruitment process. As the team’s head coach for the next two years, Bradburn will be responsible for overseeing the coaching panel.
Bradburn had previously served as the team’s head coach during the recent home series against New Zealand in a consultancy capacity. Under his guidance, Babar Azam’s team defeated the Kiwi tourists with a convincing 4-1 scoreline in the five-match One-Day International series, propelling them to the top of the ICC Rankings for the format.

“I am delighted to name Grant Bradburn as the head coach of our men’s side. Bradburn joins the side with plethora of coaching experience. After having worked with our men’s side before and at the National Cricket Academy, he understands our culture and philosophy of cricket well and is an ideal candidate to take our team forward. After the announcement of Mickey Arthur as team director, Bradburn’s appointment is another step in our endeavours of putting together a highly qualified coaching panel so our players can benefit from their experiences and dominate world cricket in all three formats,” PCB Management Committee Chairperson Najam Sethi said in a PCB media release.

PCB has recently made a notable addition to the team’s coaching staff by appointing Andrew Puttick, a former South African cricketer, as the new batting coach. Puttick has signed a two-year contract and will be tasked with improving the team’s batting skills. Furthermore, the strength and conditioning coach Drikus Saaiman and physiotherapist Cliffe Deacon will continue in their current roles to support the team’s fitness and health.
