Sourav Ganguly, former Indian cricket captain, lauded Suryakumar Yadav as the best T20 player. Yadav’s outstanding performance in the recent Mumbai Indians vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore match at Wankhede Stadium saw him score 83 runs off just 35 balls, leading MI to chase down a target of 200 runs in only 16.3 overs with four wickets to spare. Yadav’s mammoth 140-run partnership with Nehal Wadhera in just 66 balls was another highlight of the match.

With 376 runs in 11 matches at an average of 34.18 and a phenomenal strike rate of 186.14, Yadav has become a vital player for MI this season. His impressive performance is expected to contribute significantly to the remainder of the Indian Premier League.

The former BCCI president took to Twitter and said it seems like the right-handed batter is batting on a computer.

“Surya Kumar Yadav the best T20 player in the world .. it seems he bats on a computer @surya_14kumar @mipaltan,” tweeted Sourav Ganguly.

It is pertinent to note that Suryakumar Yadav holds the top spot in the ICC men’s T20I rankings.
