As the “Master Blaster” Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his 52nd birthday today, the world has flooded the legend with warm wishes. Fans, cricket associations, IPL franchises, and former and current cricketers are sharing their tributes to the man often called the “Heartbeat of Indian Cricket.”

Tendulkar is widely regarded as one of the greatest batters in the history of cricket. He holds the record for 100 international centuries—51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs. His 34,357 international runs in 664 matches stand as a testament to his consistency, class, elegance, and passion for the sport.

From making his debut at the age of 16 in 1989 to lifting the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, Tendulkar’s journey has been nothing short of legendary. He has been honoured with prestigious awards like the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, and Padma Shri, recognising not only his cricketing excellence but also his immense contribution to Indian sports.

The BCCI shared their warm wishes through a post highlighting the achievements of the cricketing icon and wrote: “The only cricketer to score 100 international Hundreds Wishing the legendary and ever-so-inspirational Sachin Tendulkar a very Happy Birthday!”

Mumbai Indians (MI), acknowledging Tendulkar’s long-standing role as an icon for the franchise since the inception of the IPL, posted: “A player to look up to, a legend to bow down to, Happy Birthday SACHIN TENDULKAR”

Suresh Raina also paid tribute to Sachin, calling him inspirational and writing: “Happy Birthday to the Master Blaster, A legendary cricketer, an inspiration to millions, and a true icon in the world of sports. Wishing you a wonderful year ahead, Sir!”

The Mumbai Cricket Association acknowledged Tendulkar’s impact on the sport through a heartfelt post: “ – Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar! From carrying the hopes of a billion to creating memories that will live forever, you are the heartbeat of Indian cricket.”

Former India Women’s Team skipper, Mithali Raj, also shared a post: “More than a cricketer. A story of dedication, grace, and timeless inspiration. Wishing you a day as iconic as your journey, @sachin_rt.
