10 May, 2024, Kolkata: Adamas Howrah Warriors on Friday announced the names of the head coaches for the men’s and women’s teams for the inaugural season of Bengal Pro T20 League.
Subhomoy Das and Abhishek Banerjee, two former Bengal cricketers, have been appointed as the head and assistant coaches for the men’s teams, respectively. On the other hand, Paramita Roy and Ranjana Yadav, two former Bengal Women’s cricketers, were announced as the head and assistant coaches for the women’s team.
Subhomoy, who played first-class cricket for Bengal for more than 13 years and was the Chairman of the Selection Committee for Senior Men’s Bengal team, has been appointed as the coach to guide and mentor the men’s team. Additionally, Abhishek Banerjee, who has featured in List-A cricket for Bengal, will serve as the assistant coach for the men’s team.
On the other hand, Paramita Roy, a domestic champion with both the Bengal and Railways Women’s cricket team, has been appointed as the head coach of the women’s team. She will be assisted by Ranjana Yadav, who represented Bengal in T20s and served as the head coach of the Meghalaya U-19 Women’s Cricket team.

Earlier during the trophy launch, Bengal cricketers Anustup Majumdar and Dhara Gujjar were announced as the marquee players for the men’s and women’s teams of Adamas Howrah Warriors respectively.
