Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has become the third Spaniard to win four grass court championships. At just 22 years old, he now joins an elite list alongside Spanish legends Rafael Nadal and Feliciano Lopez.

Alcaraz reached this milestone after his sensational win at the HSBC Championship 2025. During the post-match press conference, the Spaniard expressed his excitement about the achievement.

“Well, honestly, I don’t pay so much attention on that statistics. Obviously once I know them, obviously it’s pretty good, I’m not gonna lie, being the third Spanish player to achieve that. Achieve four tournaments on grass, I think it’s great to be with Rafa, to be with Feli, such great players from our country, from tennis,” said Alcaraz.

“I have done it in just 22. Sometimes you have to sit down and think a little bit about it and realize, okay, this is a great thing, and I appreciate that. Hopefully now I will not stop here. Hopefully keep going. But it’s great stats to know,” he added.

Alcaraz Looks Ahead to 2025 Wimbledon Championships

Alcaraz secured his second Queen’s Club title after defeating Czech player Jiri Lehecka in the final on June 23, 2025, with a 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-2 victory. His triumph at Queen’s Club marks a key grass-court success and further cements his status as one of the top contenders ahead of Wimbledon.

The 22-year-old has showcased elite form throughout the season and enters the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, beginning June 30, as one of the tournament favourites. Notably, he also became the first player since Rafael Nadal in 2008 to win both the French Open and Queen’s Club titles in the same season.
