Ollie Robinson, England pace bowler, confirmed his fitness for the fourth Ashes Test to be held in Manchester. The pacer was laid low by a back issue during the third Test in Leeds. Despite his absence in Australia’s second innings, England managed to secure a close three-wicket victory to keep the series alive.

“Sometimes these things come around, but then they go just as quickly as well. I’m 100 per cent fit for Manchester. The medical team said that it’s likely to have happened because I played back-to-back Test matches, and bowled 15 overs of bumpers at Lord’s,” Ollie Robinson wrote in his column for Wisden.

With 10 wickets in the series, Robinson is currently the fourth-highest wicket-taker, trailing only Stuart Broad, who has 16 wickets. Robinson’s availability places the team management, including head coach Brendon McCullum and all-rounder Ben Stokes, in a selection dilemma as they aim to accommodate all their talented fast bowlers in the final XI for the Manchester Test.
