Hardik Pandya, the veteran seam-bowling India all-rounder, has been showered with praises all over social media platforms for his sweet gesture towards a cameraman, in the final T20I of the India-South Africa series, in Ahmedabad, on Friday.
While facing the first ball of his innings, Hardik stepped out of the crease and smashed Corbin Bosch over mid-off. As it happened, after the ball cleared the fence, it hit the cameraman. After the match ended, Hardik went up to the person and checked on him. He also gave a warm hug and applied an ice pack.
Everyone, including India’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, seemed concerned when the aforesaid incident happened. Play was even paused for a bit and the cameraman was provided with medical assistance. Thankfully, he didn’t suffer any major injury.
