Following an impressive showing at the Asian Athletics Championships, the Taiwan Athletics Open served as a key stop for Indian athletes on their way to the world championship in Tokyo, helping them earn vital ranking points and competitive exposure.

However, Australia’s Delta Amidzovski, the 2024 U-20 world champion, produced a stunning 6.49m leap in her final attempt to snatch the gold.
